I made two short animated explainers on Bittensor. The first is about how the network works: the chain and its token, subnets, miners and validators, how Yuma Consensus turns validators' scores into rewards, and how dynamic TAO decides which subnets get the most new TAO.
The second looks at the subnets themselves: what it costs to launch one, how they get pushed out, which levers their owners have, and six of the leading ones: Chutes, Lium, Targon, Score, Affine and Templar. It ends by comparing what subnets earn from paying customers with the value of the new TAO the network gives them, which is still more than ten times larger.
Together they run about nine minutes with narration. Figures are as of early October 2026, from the Bittensor docs, Taostats, CoinGecko and the SubConnect revenue index. The revenue numbers are self-reported and unaudited, and none of this is investment advice.
